About Max's Cafe
Hi, I’m Max. I am the owner/operator of Max’s Café.
I grew up in Eden Prairie, MN and good, homemade food has always been part of my life because both of my parents are chefs. Ever since I was little, I dreamed of owning my own restaurant. I worked a variety of restaurant jobs during high school and then during my college years in Northern California. After almost 8 years enjoying life as a ski bum in Tahoe, I moved back to Minnesota to be closer to my family. In 2011 I decided it was now or never and put all my efforts into opening my own place- Max’s Café.
Max’s Café was created around inspiration from my parents and my enjoyment of “made from scratch,” quality food. It is important to me that people think of Max’s Café as much more than a coffee shop (although we have GREAT locally roasted coffee!). When people think of Max’s Café, I want them to think about our delicious breakfast items, fresh baked muffins, cookies, and scones. I want people to talk about the tasty sandwiches, soups and salads. All of our items are made fresh daily using quality ingredients and most of our food is made from scratch, including our salad dressings.
Great customer service is also something you’ll find at my place. I am there most days and have a great team of staff.
